You are able to purchase from the Trotters website using GBP pounds sterling (£), USD ($), AUD ($), CAD ($), HKD ($), JPY (¥), NZD ($) and SGD ($). We accept online payment in a secure environment. Currently, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Delta, Switch, AMEX, PayPal, Apple Pay & Google Pay. Please note, payments made via PayPal will automatically be converted and charged in GBP (£). To avoid any additional charges, we recommend that you select GBP as your chosen currency if paying with PayPal.
If transacting in a different currency than the one selected on the site, your credit card providers or banks will determine the exchange rate. If payment is made in a currency not issued as the standard by the bank, they may add an additional processing or administration charge which the cardholder will be liable to pay.
All Product prices shown on the Website are inclusive of any applicable UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. This means that the total price you pay for the product is always the same, regardless of whether or not UK VAT is chargeable on our sale of the product.
Where you have requested delivery to a UK or EU address, the price paid for the Product will include UK sales tax (VAT) where applicable.
Where you are not a UK resident and you have requested delivery to a non-EU address, the products will normally be zero-rated and not subject to UK sales tax (VAT), but the price paid by you for the products will remain the same as shown on the Website.
Please note: There is no VAT chargeable on children's clothing, books, or shoes up to a size EU38. Toys, Hair Accessories and Hair Products will be subject to the standard VAT rate of 20%.
Any additional charges for international delivery, including import duty, formal customs entry, taxes, levies and other charges that may be levied outside the EU will be your responsibility as we have no control over these charges and cannot predict them. The recipient of the goods, not the person placing the order, will receive a separate request for payment of these charges. If you’re ordering products to be delivered to someone else, please ensure they’re aware that they’ll be responsible for these additional charges.
Is there VAT on my order?
There is no VAT on children’s clothing, footwear up to a girls size EU38 & a boys size EU41, belts or books. Hair accessories, adult’s clothing and footwear as well as gifts and toys carry VAT at the standard rate of 20%. Prices are shown inclusive of VAT where applicable. All deliveries outside EEC countries will be charged exclusive of VAT.
